The Brandon Amphitheater is a beautiful, family friendly venue that hosts many musical events. It is located alongside Interstate 20 near downtown Brandon, Mississippi. It is in close proximity of Memphis, TN (237 miles), New Orleans, LA (197 miles), Shreveport, LA (229 miles), and Birmingham, AL (226 miles) and makes it an easy destination for music lovers across the Deep South. The nearby Rankin County Multipurpose Building offers those traveling by RV with 30 and 50-amp connections.

The Brandon Amphitheater is a handicap accessible venue, and serves as the centerpiece a 250-acre development, called The Quarry, that, when complete, will feature trails for running, biking and strolling through nature, as well as, a dog park, a baseball park, and other outdoor pleasing features.

The Brandon Amphitheater offers flexible capacity in both its lower and upper seating levels. The seating capacity ranges from 7,000 to 8,300. In addition, the venue contains designated box seats, audio and video production elements, and video walls. Concessions are available along with the convenience of beverage kiosks. The Community Bank Club is a VIP club for Amphitheater sponsors and box seat holders.

The City of Brandon owns the Brandon Amphitheater. The venue is situated in a natural setting among trees that highlight the terrain of the area. The idea for the Amphitheater came from a group of forward looking individuals that sought to capture the essence of what makes Brandon Mississippi a quality place to live and raise a family. The architect is Jamie Wier of Wier Boehner Allin Architecture. Red Mountain Entertainment is the promotions company for concerts and other events.

Fannin Lanes is a Family Entertainment Center located in Brandon, Mississippi. It is located near the Ross Barnett Reservoir. On the outskirts of Brandon, Mississippi, you can experience an African Safari without the need to travel thousands of miles. McClain Safari Tours are a family-friendly exhibit like no other in South. Here you will come face to face with exotic animals. The entire area is two thousand acres that is not just for the safari tours. It contains a fresh bakery, a restaurant, farmers market, and a petting zoo.

You can drive yourself through the park in your own vehicle. Or you can opt for one of the guided jeep tours. One of the jeeps even has the steering wheel on the right hand side to give you the experience of driving in Africa.

Also you can receive the full safari experience by booking the McClain Zebra Bus with bench seats and open windows that provides an easy way for up to 30 people to to feed the animals. The tour guides are informative and friendly, and make the entire time so enjoyable.

Additionally, there is a petting zoo and a walking trail for you and your little ones to feed and touch the gentler animals.

There are many species found on the McClain Safari including: Deer, Buffalo, Elk, Emu, Camels, Giraffe, Alpaca, Bison, and Zebra. The animals are friendly and will come right up to your car to be fed.
